Description
Founded in 1901 by Emanuele Pedrotti, Pedrotti Spumanti is a historic family-owned winery in Trentino, now led by sisters Donatella and Chiara Pedrotti. Dedicated exclusively to Trentodoc Metodo Classico sparkling wines, the family combines over a century of tradition with modern oenological expertise to craft elegant, precise, and authentic wines.
Nestled in the Vallagarina valley between the Dolomites and Lake Garda, the vineyards benefit from a unique continental-Alpine climate and clay-chalky soils, producing grapes of exceptional structure and minerality. Sustainability is at the heart of Pedrotti’s approach: minimal-intervention viticulture, biodiverse vineyards, and natural aging in the historic Grotta dello Spumante reduce energy use while enhancing quality.
The grotto, praised by Luigi Veronelli as a “Cathedral of Spumante,” has been the heart of sparkling wine maturation since 1978, offering ideal conditions for slow, precise aging. From Emanuele’s first wines to today’s fourth generation, Pedrotti Spumanti continues to celebrate Trentino’s terroir, family heritage, and a century-long passion for exceptional sparkling wines.
