Description Image Geographic and Cultural Origin
Pedrotti Brut Millesimato hails from the Vallagarina valley in Trentino, northern Italy—a region renowned for producing exceptional Metodo Classico sparkling wines. The dramatic Alpine landscape, with its high altitudes, stark temperature variations between day and night, and mineral-rich clay and chalk soils, provides the ideal microclimate for cultivating high-quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. This terroir is essential to the distinctive character of Trentodoc, a sparkling wine that reflects both nature and tradition.

Technique and Artisanal Craftsmanship
This Millesimato is produced using the Metodo Classico (Traditional Method), with a second fermentation occurring in the bottle. The wine is aged on its lees for a minimum of 48–50 months in Pedrotti’s Spumante Cave—a natural grotto with perfect temperature, humidity, and silence to foster long, slow maturation. Manual riddling (remuage), disgorgement, and precise dosage of the liqueur d’expédition complete the artisanal process. The extended contact with yeasts enhances its complexity, finesse, and signature perlage.

Organoleptic and Nutritional Characteristics
In the glass, Pedrotti Brut Millesimato presents a golden yellow hue with brilliant golden glints. Its fine and persistent perlage reflects meticulous bottle fermentation. The nose offers fragrant aromas of dried fruit and yellow apple, while the palate reveals lively acidity, firm minerality, and a long, elegant finish. The wine’s structure and freshness make it both invigorating and gastronomically versatile.

Culinary Use
Thanks to its complexity and balance, this Brut Millesimato is perfect as an aperitif or enjoyed throughout a meal. It pairs harmoniously with richly flavored dishes, including blue cheeses, wild mushrooms, savory vegetable courses, or nut-based preparations. Its bright acidity and mineral backbone also complement fish, shellfish, and refined white meat dishes. A sophisticated companion for special occasions or gourmet experiences.
Producers Image Producer – Pedrotti Spumanti
Founded in 1901 by Emanuele Pedrotti, this family-owned winery has been a symbol of Trentino’s winemaking excellence for over a century. Today, sisters Donatella and Chiara Pedrotti lead the company with passion and precision, focusing exclusively on Trentodoc sparkling wines. Their approach blends modern enological expertise with the wisdom of three generations, creating wines that celebrate both craftsmanship and authenticity.

Territory – Vallagarina, Trentino
Nestled between the Dolomites and Lake Garda, Vallagarina offers an ideal terroir for Metodo Classico production. The vineyards, set on sun-kissed hillsides, benefit from a continental-Alpine climate with significant diurnal temperature shifts. Clay and chalky soils contribute structure, minerality, and finesse to the grapes. This unique geography—combined with traditional viticulture—yields sparkling wines with unmatched depth, precision, and elegance.

Sustainability Image Pedrotti Spumanti is deeply committed to sustainable viticulture and environmentally responsible production. The vineyards are managed with minimal intervention, emphasizing biodiversity, soil health, and reduced chemical use. The natural grotto used for bottle aging eliminates the need for artificial climate control, drastically reducing energy consumption. Manual riddling and traditional production methods minimize waste and prioritize long-term stewardship of the land. Each bottle of Pedrotti Trentodoc embodies not only oenological excellence but also a respectful balance with nature, ensuring a legacy that is both cultural and ecological.
